Stefanie Lieberman Simon

Louise and I were close friends in 9th and 10th grade. We enjoyed sleepovers and met in the Village for a film and socializing most weekends.  In college we lost touch but did spend some lovely moments together at our various reunions in New York. I moved to Los Angeles in 1966.

Fast forward to the pandemic and Louise and I reconnected, sharing hours on the phone and mostly laughing at both our past and present lives. We decided that after all these years we still had so much to discuss. She was happily married and moved from Manhattan into a house in Quogue. Unfortunately, we then lost touch. 

Louise was a beautiful, thoughtful and highly intelligent woman. My deepest condolences to her family.

Hello Barry..... I really hope you remember me because when I saw your recent update, many memories came back. I've been attending all the reunions and especially enjoying connecting with people from elementary school. I guess my "long term memory" is kicking in. So, I think you were one of the first boys I ever danced with..... it was either in Mr. Stearn's class or Mr. Schmidt's. Anyway, I was so tall that I towered above everyone and really felt quite uncomfortable .... Do you remember...??? Please do let me know and when we have the next reunion... please do come.

I am still in touch with Joyce Meyer Newman and speak with her often. I have very happy memories of Great Neck. I live in Los Angeles now and I'm a psychotherapist. While many of my friends are retired, I just signed a new three year lease on my office. I do enjoy my work.
