Since I'm divorced and have never been a father, I'd like to include in this section that my mom is still alive at the age of 100 1/2. She lives in Palm Beach on the other coast of Florida, so it's real easy to get to see her. And I live with a wonderful cat, Suzanne.

I've been in the employment business, in one capacity or another, since 1968. I didn’t “work,” though, from 1978-1992. During those years, I volunteered at local non-profits and did a lot of writing. I had two career books published, plus wrote articles for several career newspapers. Since 1992, I’ve been writing resumes for executives across the country, and had a third book published in 2003.

Lifelong: Listening to classical music and opera, watching all kinds of sports, shooting pool.
Relatively new: writing, reading Shakespeare, playing the bagpipes.

Semi-retired since 2006. I continue to write resumes but also audit humanities courses at the University of South Florida, study Shakespeare on my own, and am learning how to play the bagpipes. I also enjoy bowling and shooting pool. I plan to do all these things so long as I can see, hear, move my fingers, and remember what it is that I’m trying to do. Indications are that my memory will be the first to go!
