Career:

I've been teaching for 42 years and still love what I do. I've taught every grade k-12 except for 5th.

My last 25 years have been in Great Neck, first at South High School and then at South Middle. I now teach 2 math classes and spend the rest of each day as Dean. I haven't yet burned out, probably because I've taught in so many different subject areas. I look forward to going to school each day.

My Dear Friend Ellen,
Wishing you all the best on your special day., 2/19/22. I know it's only the 13th, but I don't want to forget. Remembering things has become a challenge. I've had some strange illness that gave me brain problems; I'm finally on the road to recovery.I just had an EEG that indicates I will be fine.
Bill has lung cancer so we have been dealing with that. He couldn't have normal surgery because he is 90; we are hoping the radiation will work.It will be a while before we have a definitive answer.
Hopefully we will be able to resume our visits at some future time.
Stay healthy and happy.
