It’s wonderful to see everyone’s birthdays and that so many of us are still active. I will be responsive in the future. I am still working and hubby has greater needs so I have not been reading the correspondence. One of the things in my life for which I am very thankful is having graduated from Great Neck North.
That's a deal. My email address is agarfinkle@wtplaw.com. I work too much. If you would be willing to come downtown near DuPont Circle we could have a nice lunch. My office is 202.659.6819. My home is 202.966.3239. I would really like to see you again. Ann

This posting made me laugh with recognition. Why did any of us think we could ever live in the south? I live in Washington DC and whenever any child or now grandchild thinks about college in the south, I just tell them to visit for a couple of days. I exclude much of Florida when I say the south. I live in DC with my husband. I went on a float fly fishing trip with our youngest son (in his late 40's) and William Brent said to our guide and all the fish in the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. See that woman, pointing to me the other person in the float boat, " She practices law full time, she teaches at a university! She's a college trustee (MICA) and she's 72 years old! The fish laughed.
My husband Joseph Brent is a retired history professor and our traveling is mostly limited to visiting grandchildren and their parents. It's a good life but I do get more tired than I ever did. Our sons have turned out beautifully and very interesting.
I agree with Randy that with friends dying it is vital that we stay close to our friends from High school.
A very happy birthday to you. I hope to catch up now that it has stopped snowing.
Warmest best, Ann
