I have three children and 11 grandchildren:
Daughter Denise (60) and 2 children - Danny, 27 and Joshua, 15;
Son Nicolas III (57) and 5 children: Austin, 30, Samantha 21, Kierstin 18, and twins Nicolas IV and Christian, 16;
Son Scott (55) and 4 children: Kaitlynn, 34, Maggie Valerie, 16, Anna 14, and Markie 13.
Denise was a biochemist and now is a stay-at-home mom
Nicolas is in finance and in the process of starting his own investment company
Scott was the Executive Chef for Merrill Lynch in NYC until 9/11 and then left his great job to become a NYC firefighter, having been so impressed with what they did in the City after 9/11.
We recently became great-grandparents to baby Eloise in February.

I was a business teacher in the Connetquot School District as well as teaching first grade the last 8 years of my career. When people ask which I preferred I usually answer first grade: they never cut class, always completed homework, and I often got a hug at the end of the day.

Right now it's golf (can't get enough of it although I'm pretty mediocre); love Gourmet cooking and started a Gourmet Dining Club in Florida in my community, compiling menus and recipes for up to 48 couples; also love reading, needlework, puzzles, and on-line scrabble.

Currently I am passionately tending my 45 orchid plants.

When my children were young I was very active in PTA, both locally and statewide. Now I volunteer for Cafe of Life which provides meals to the homeless and indigent in the community. Those consist of disabled vets and agricultural workers on the Florida farms. I also volunteer in the elementary schools reading to and working with young children who are struggling to learn English since many of them come from a Latino background.

Although the high school years are so far in the past, I look forward to saying "Hi" again at the reunion.

I was unable to attend the 50th class reunion but if there are any of us still around would look forward to a ... would it be a 65th reunion?
